Job Jumpers is a fast-paced, colorful series aimed
at helping the tween audience decide what they want
to do when they grow up.
In each half hour episode, our teen hosts jump from
job to job to get actual hands-on experience in 4 different
careers. For example, the first episode looks at Hollywood
stuntmen, professional pet photographers, and a helicopter
pilot. Lastly, they go backstage at a Broadway show
to see what it is really like to be a kid working in
professional show biz.
Our energetic teen hosts also list the pros and cons
of each job and even their starting salaries. Tween
viewers will be encouraged to visit the Job Jumper
website to learn educational requirements for each
job, to play games and puzzles, to suggest careers
for upcoming episodes, to see profiles of the Job Jumpers
teen hosts, and more!
Job Jumper episodes never stop jumping. Using bright,
animated graphics and about a zillion sound effects,
the pace is non-stop. With some occasional stabs at
comedy, the series is designed to inspire kids to think
seriously abut their future. It will surely receive
the E/I rating that always makes the FCC smile!
Job Jumpers is the creation of Writer/Producer Len
Stone. This is Len's 4th kid/teen TV series. His past
youth programs have been nominated for a total 21 Emmy
Awards. His UPN tween show "What's Up?" was
honored with 2 Emmy Awards and the prestigious Service
to Children's Television Award from the National Association
of Broadcasters (NAB).
